Embrace Natural Beauty

Close look of the Wood Blinds

Our wood blinds feature distinctive characteristics that hark back to their origin as exceptional North American hardwood.

Wood Grain

The direction and density of the grain tells the story of the tree’s growth over time.

Pin Knots

No larger than 1/4″ in diameter, these irregular dots vary in size and shape.

Burls

Swirls in the grain, these irregularities are particularly beautiful.

Mineral Marks

These appear as streaks or stains in varying degrees of darkness.

Elite Wood Blinds

Individually finished and carefully shepherded through the manufacturing process, elite wood blinds offer unsurpassed refinement.

Authentic hardwoods

Choose between the rich reds of cherry, the warm honeys of maple, or the deep espressos of walnut-whatever you select, each authentic hardwood is coated with a clear finish that protects and enhances the beauty of your blinds.

Custom colors

For a truly personal creation, precisely match your blinds with your existing décor by selecting a custom color created especially for you.

Unique finishes

Add additional character and texture to your blinds with a unique finish, such as rustic, distressed, or barnwood.

Designed to perfect your view

Horizontal wood blinds offer a variety of slat sizes to complement windows from small to large.

Coordinating looks

Cover especially wide windows or patio doors with wood vertical blinds. Individually finished vanes add natural beauty while specially designed hinges ensure vanes hang straight and true, without warping or twisting.

And consider the elegance of wood shutters to ornament a showcase window, creating the perfect accompaniment to a room full of wood blinds.

The Benefits of Wood, Composite, and Faux Wood

Natural wood blinds elevate the ambiance of your home with their superior North American hardwood and craftsmanship.

Lightweight composite blinds perform beautifully in high-humidity rooms.

Ladder Spacing

The ladder spacing for each material affects your view through the blinds. Wood, with the widest spacing, grants the clearest view to the outdoors.

Composite Blinds

2½” SLAT A wide, bold look that offers a broader view of the outdoors.

Faux Wood Blinds

Premium faux wood blinds mimic the look of real wood grain, enabling you to coordinate seamlessly with other wood window treatments for a smaller investment.

Faux wood blinds are a simpler and even more affordable way to get the look of wood. Both premium and faux wood blinds stand up well in high-moisture environments where wood blinds aren’t recommended.

Your Safety is our Highest Priority

You have high standards for the products you use to decorate your home. You want them to be strong and durable, of exceptional quality, and as beautiful as they are functional in design.

You also have high standards for the companies who make those products. That’s why Graber is working constantly to improve processes, maximize product benefits, and above all, ensure your safety.

When child-proofing your home it is important to remember that cords on traditional window blinds and shades pose a strangulation hazard, and can cause accidents or injuries to babies and toddlers.

Cordless lift, motorized tilt, and wand tilt options are safer alternatives-eliminating the standard cord that could entangle children or pets.

For more information on child-safe window treatments review the guidelines below, or talk with your Graber Design Consultant.

Important Cord Safety Guidelines

The Window Covering Safety Council urges parents and caregivers to check for potential window cord hazards and make the necessary safety updates.

  • Install only cordless window coverings in young children’s playrooms and sleeping areas.
  • Replace or retrofit window blinds, corded shades and draperies manufactured before 2001 with today’s safer products.
  • Move all cribs, beds, furniture and toys away from windows and window cords, preferably to another wall.
  • Keep all window pull cords and inner lift cords out of children’s reach. Make sure that tasseled pull cords are short and continuous- loop cords are permanently anchored to the floor or wall, Cord stops should be properly installed and adjusted.
  • Lock cords into position whenever horizontal blinds or shades are lowered.

Ask your The Best Shades sales representative about our cordless control options, which have been certified as The Best for Kids by an independent lab.
